Terms and Conditions

Please note: this page is a starter template. It should be reviewed by a qualified adviser before you rely on it, and updated to reflect how GMB Profile Solutions actually operates.

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the GMB Profile Solutions website and to any services we provide to you. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About us

GMB Profile Solutions is an independent service provider based in London, United Kingdom. You can contact us at info@gmbprofilesolutions.com.

We are not Google, we are not a Google Partner and we are not an official Google support channel. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC. We have no special access to Google’s teams or systems and no ability to influence Google’s decisions.

2. Our services

We provide review, guidance, compliance assistance and support for businesses experiencing problems with Google Business Profile and, in selected cases, Google Ads accounts. This may include reviewing your profile or account, explaining relevant Google guidelines and policies, recommending corrections, helping you prepare evidence and supporting you through appeals or verification.

The scope of any paid work will be agreed with you in writing before it begins.

3. No guarantee of outcome

Google makes the final decision on every suspension, appeal, verification, reinstatement and ownership request. We do not and cannot guarantee any particular outcome, including reinstatement, verification, approval, ranking or visibility in search results. Timescales for Google’s decisions are outside our control.

Our fees are for the time, review and support we provide, not for a specific result, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

4. Your responsibilities

When you use our services, you agree that you will:

  • provide information that is accurate, complete and not misleading, and tell us promptly if anything changes
  • only ask us to help with a business that genuinely exists and that you own or are authorised to represent
  • make sure your business is eligible for a Google Business Profile or Google Ads account, as applicable, and comply with Google’s guidelines, policies and terms
  • make any agreed corrections to your profile or account in good time
  • keep control of your own Google account and its security
  • comply with all laws that apply to your business

We will not help create listings for businesses that do not exist, use addresses where a business does not genuinely operate, add keywords to business names or attempt to evade policy enforcement. We may decline or stop work if we believe a request conflicts with Google’s guidelines or the law.

5. Access to your accounts

We will never ask for your Google account password, and you should not share it with us. Where we need access, we prefer that you add us as a manager on your Business Profile, grant limited access to a Google Ads account, or share your screen while you remain in control. You can remove our access at any time. You remain responsible for your account and for any submissions made from it.

6. Fees and payment

Submitting a case review form does not commit you to paying for anything. Any fees for paid work will be agreed with you in writing before the work starts, together with what is included and when payment is due. We will not start paid work until you have confirmed that you accept the fees.

7. Confidentiality and data protection

We treat information about your business and your case as confidential and will only use it to provide our services, except where we are required to disclose it by law. We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. Website content

The information on our website is general guidance only. It is not legal advice and may not reflect the latest changes to Google’s guidelines or policies. You should not rely on it as a substitute for advice on your specific situation. Please see our Disclaimer.

The content of this website belongs to us or our licensors. You may view and print it for your own use, but you must not copy or republish it for commercial purposes without our permission.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to that:

  • we are not liable for any decision made by Google, or for any suspension, rejection, loss of visibility or other action taken by Google
  • we are not liable for any loss arising from inaccurate or incomplete information you provide, or from changes you make to your profile or account against our advice
  • we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss
  • our total liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the fees you have paid us for that service

If you are a consumer rather than a business, you have certain legal rights that these terms do not affect.

10. Ending our services

You can ask us to stop work at any time. We may also stop work if you do not meet your responsibilities under these terms or if we believe continuing would conflict with Google’s guidelines or the law. Any fees for work already carried out will be dealt with as agreed in writing.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you engage us will apply to that engagement, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, although if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
